Stryde ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in Japan, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the iOS and Android versions of NekoLock ("the app") access, use, store, and share information. For our business address, please contact us at the email listed below.

1. Information Accessed and Processed on Your Device

With permissions you choose to grant, the app processes the following information locally to provide app blocking, screen-time reports, and cat features:

• App and screen-time data: Apps selected for blocking, app usage duration, activity times, and launch or foreground-app information made available by Apple Screen Time APIs or Android Usage Access.
• Accessibility Service data (Android only): The Android accessibility service observes only the package identifier of the app currently brought to the foreground and compares it with your blocked-app list on the device. It cannot retrieve screen content and does not read or collect text, keystrokes, passwords, messages, images, or other content displayed in another app.
• App settings and cat data: Blocking rules, notification preferences, cat settings, affection progress, and interaction history.
• Raw screen-time details, foreground-app history, and the names or identifiers of apps you select for blocking are processed on the device and are not sent by us to Firebase, RevenueCat, or our servers.

2. Information Sent to Service Providers

The app uses the following service providers. These services may receive pseudonymous identifiers and technical information needed to operate their features:

• Firebase Analytics (iOS and Android): App interaction events such as onboarding progress, permission status, paywall and purchase-flow events, the number (not names) of selected apps, cat interactions, and play duration. Firebase may also automatically process app version, OS version, device type, language, approximate region derived from IP address, and a Firebase installation identifier.
• Firebase Crashlytics (iOS only): Crash traces, app and OS versions, device model and state, timestamps, and installation identifiers used to diagnose crashes. The Android version does not include Firebase Crashlytics.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (iOS and Android): A Firebase installation identifier and push-notification token used to deliver notifications.
• RevenueCat (iOS and Android): Product and transaction information, purchase receipts or Google purchase tokens, subscription or entitlement status, an automatically generated anonymous app user ID, and limited device and app technical information. Apple or Google processes your payment details; we do not receive your full payment-card information.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

The app does not require an account and we do not use the information described above for targeted advertising.

• Your name, email address, phone number, or other direct contact details through the app
• Precise location or GPS data
• Contacts, photos, files, microphone recordings, or camera data
• Screen contents, messages, passwords, or keystrokes from other apps
• Advertising identifiers; the app does not display third-party advertising

4. How We Use Information

We use information only as needed to provide and maintain the app, honor your choices, and improve its reliability.

• Provide app blocking, screen-time reports, cat interactions, and saved settings
• Measure feature usage and improve the user experience
• Diagnose crashes and technical problems on iOS
• Deliver notifications you have allowed
• Process purchases, verify entitlements, prevent purchase fraud, and restore purchases

5. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. Information is disclosed only to the service providers needed for the purposes described above:

• Google LLC — Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Crashlytics (iOS only). See Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat, Inc. — Purchase validation, entitlement management, and purchase analytics. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
• Apple Inc. and Google LLC — App Store and Google Play payment processing. Their respective privacy policies apply to information they process as payment platform operators.
• These providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their processors operate.

6. Storage, Security, Retention, and Deletion

• Local app settings, raw app-usage data, and cat data are stored in the app's local storage. Uninstalling the app generally removes this local data. Android backups are disabled.
• Data transmitted to Firebase and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
• Firebase Analytics event data is retained according to our configured retention period, up to 14 months. Firebase Crashlytics data for the iOS version is generally retained for 90 days. Firebase installation identifiers used for messaging and RevenueCat purchase records are retained as necessary to provide those services and as described in each provider's policy.
• To request deletion of information associated with the app, contact us using the email below. We may ask for an anonymous app user ID or transaction identifier so we can locate the relevant record. Some transaction records may be retained where required by law or needed to prevent fraud.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access & Portability: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction & Deletion: Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Objection & Restriction: Object to or request restriction of certain processing where applicable.
• Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
• You can revoke Screen Time, Usage Access, Accessibility, overlay, or notification permissions in your device settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
• To exercise your rights, please contact us at the email address listed below. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or our website.
